The Experience
On arrival at your venue, we will set up the treatment areas with our own manicure tables and massage couches. We bring our own towels, tissues etc.
We aim to have the nail stations in a communal area where the client/s can sit and chat together whilst sipping a glass of wine and listening to the background music.
For the massages we would prefer to have individual rooms set up to create a quiet, calm environment giving you complete relaxation..
Once we are set up, we can begin treatments from the schedule produced by myself prior to the day.
We will try our uttmost to make your day as special and Spa like as we can.

Massage:
Is an ideal choice of complementary therapy for both clients who have physical aches and pains and for client's who are feeling stressed or unhappy. It makes you feel good, in both body and mind.

Reflexology:
Is a complimentary /holistic therapy. it is a pressure point thechnique applied to the hands and feet... mirrored on the surface of the hands and feet are the internal organs and structures of the body. Reflexology is a non invasive treatmene that works on these internal features to help mainain the delicate balance between the bodies systems.
The exact origins are unknown as it has been practiced throughout history by a variety ofcultures and places such as India, China and Egypt more than three thousand years ago.
Reiki:
Is a Japanese technique for stress reduction and relaxation that also promotes healing. It is administered by "laying on hands" and is based on the idea that an unseen "life force energy" flows through us and is what causes us to be alive. If one's life force energy" is low, then we are more likely to get sick or feel stress and if it is high, we are more capable of being happy and healthy.

Indian Head Massage:
Or Champissage is commonly practiced throughout India and Pakistan. The techniques have been passed on through the generations. Women use the techniques on their children and so the children learn from an early age.
Its main purpose originally was to promote shiny, healthy hair. Asian women today still use coconut oil and head massage for this purpose but it was also discovered that the use of the massage resulted in a feeling of relaxation and equilibrium. It was noted that certain conditions such as headaches and insomnia were quickly resolved after a treatment.

I helped to organise my friends hen do at Millfields Farm in Derbyshire. The bride hinted that she'd like to have some form of pampering involved in the daytime activities and so I set about contacting a number of different beauty therapists in the local area to see what kind of things were on offer. Val got back to me straight away and was able to provide me with a long list of treatments available at great prices. The other hens were so impressed with the array of treatments on offer that many of the girls booked two treatments.
Val kindly produced a timetable of treatments, accommodating those who needed to leave early or arrive late which ensured that the day ran smoothly. On the day itself, Val and her team arrived, set up and got on with organising the treatments without any fuss. Even though it was the first time they had been to this venue they were quickly able to assess where were the best places to set up the various treatments. The feedback on the treatments from the hens (and the bride, mother of the bride and mother of the groom!) was excellent. I could not recommend Val and her team any more highly, they are fantastic!

Val came to give me a lovely, relaxing pamper the night before my wedding. Not only did her pampering techniques set me up beautifully for a busy, wedding day, she is lovely and relaxing to talk to. The next day she did various treatments for other members of our wedding party and they have all reported back how lovely their pampering was - even my 'reluctant to have any fuss' husband thoroughly enjoyed a bit of pampering by Val! I can't recommend her enough - punctual, pleasant to be with and very helpful when it comes to working round a busy wedding preparation schedule.
